Like all of toe's releases, this is an amazing album start to finish. Unparalleled vibes. I hear something new and interesting every time I listen through. This band is masterful when it comes to creating complexity and lushness via relatively simple parts. adamcfischer

At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this. Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too. Lu

great album. little bit different then the rest of the beach house albums. "heavier" I guess you could say, but the direction they took with it is always fun to listen too. it sure has that beach house consistentcy that they always have. chrissn1
